About us

Pamilacan Cottages is run by the Pingkian Family – Junior, Nemesia and their children Samfornie, Krista, Nova, Noveno and Baby Jane, assisted by Bogart the family dog.

They have lived on the island for many years and have been instrumental in setting up and promoting ecological improvements and health and education improvements on the island.

They provided the land and building for the World Wildlife Fund’s Project to promote sustainable alternatives to Manta Ray hunting, which resulted in a significant shift to ecological tourism on the island.
